Vegan Smoothie Bowl

I am in love with all things smoothie, so when the smoothie bowl fad came along, I jumped right in!

Drinking a smoothie is great, but when you put it in a bowl, you feel as though you are having more of a meal, rather than a drink.

Strawberry and Banana is my FAV, but you can make this bowl with any berries or fruit of your choice! This is my go to, simple and sweet, breakfast to start the day right.

All you gotta do is add:

♥  1 1/2 cups of organic frozen strawberries

♥ 1 organic banana (better if frozen, but works either way)

♥ 1/2 cup of your fav almond/coconut/nut milk (I used Califia Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk)

Then! BLEND BABY BLEND!

I used my Vitamix to blend today, I find that using the Vitamix over a full-sized blender causes more bubbles. It doesn’t bother me but if you want Instagram perfect, you might want to consider using a full-sized blender.

NEXT UP! (the best step) TOPPINGS!

I used:

♥ Organic Coconut Flakes

♥ Organic Chia Seeds

♥ Organic Raspberries

♥ Dragonfruit

I get a lot of questions as to WHY I use organic products, and babes, we get ONE body! Treat yo self right! Organic products contain fewer pesticides, organic farming is better for our environment (remember, there is no planet B), AND organic fruits are often fresher because they do not contain preservatives.

Other toppings I use are different fruits, dried fruits, granola, or whatever you’re feeling!
